Our creative writing curriculum takes students from the spark of an idea to a finished, publishable piece. Built on the real-life experience of working author Hannah Bent, it demystifies the writing process by triggering original ideas, finding their voice and structure, drafting with confidence, editing ruthlessly, and preparing work for publication.
Alongside stronger literacy and craft, young writers gain the confidence to see themselves as authors and the pride of sharing their stories with their peers and a real audience.
This tailor-made curriculum is inspired by leading international English Language Arts frameworks, including US Common Core (CCSS ELA), the UK National Curriculum, the Australian Curriculum (ACARA) and the IB Primary Years Programme.

Whilst immersed in creative writing exploration, young writers are also exposed to age-appropriate grammar and spelling fundamentals, as well as expanded and complex vocabulary, equipping them with a solid writer's toolkit.
